Dear Friend in Christ,
Welcome to our new website! I look forward to opening the door to you and inviting you into our "convent home". Your visits will be opportunities to get an inside view of our wonderful vocation. Sharing with you our life experiences, community celebrations, special happenings, etc., will give you a good idea of our life together. It will be great for me, also. I look forward to these encounters. Enjoy your visit!. Eager to hear from you!
Have a great day,
Sr. Elaine

hi Sr.Elaine, well i am checking out all of your hard work. Your picture looks great! I am just beginning to navigate your web site so I will let you know what I think in a little bit. Have a joyous and spiritfilled christmas. Ask the baby Jesus for a special favour from heaven for yourself and you might be pleasently surprised. I always am.

Richard, thank you for your comment about your aunt. We Sisters love your Aunt. Sister Annette is a gem! Did you check out her vocation story? It's under the heading "Our Stories" and it's entitled "An Overnight Call". Enjoy!

Jane, you can learn a lot about our history on our website. There's plenty of information. Should you want some written material, I'd be very happy to send you some. I love my Congregation and I love to make it known. I hope to hear from you.

Hi, I spent a few days with my sister in British Columbia. She says she knows quite a few women who would love to live community life, but not necessarily by joining a religious community. Any ideas ?

I don't know about how women could live in a community without joining a religous community, but I DO KNOW that The Good Shepherd Sisters have affiliates who support the Sisters and meet frequently. It seems to be a great addition to the community and very rewarding to the members.

What a wonderful introduction to SCIM. Your website is appealing in that you present positive and cheerful images of sisters at work and play, in the various ministries and in community life.
You manage to answer the readers questions before they're asked. Your instructions on how to obtain further information are clear.
You are to be congratulated on the quality of the website, and on its content.
BRAVO!
